Lars was responsible for the first german B2B food marketplace projects in the very early 90ies. Since then he was involved in various digitalization projects for top 50 global FMCG companies as well as multiple large B2C and B2B eCommerce projects in several management positions at Intershop Communications AG where he also took over responsibility for EMEA Corporate Marketing after he built up innovation management including partnerships with startup companies. In his global role at Sonepar SAS, world leader in B2B electrical distribution he was one founding member of the group's CDO team and helped rolling out a digital strategy internationally including the scouting, assessment and advisory of several startups with focus to Mobile commerce and technologies.

Since beginning of 2019 Lars is self-employed as an Interim Manager and Consultant driving Digitalization initiatives, especially omnichannel commerce strategies and projects.
